Ali is a 30-year-old Lebanese married man. He lives with his wife, parents and one sibling. Ali happily helps support his father, and they’re both covering the family's needs and expenses. He has been working on his own for the past four years. His job consists of transporting cars in his tow truck so they may be fixed. Today, he’s requesting to borrow $1500 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to perform needed maintenance on his shuttle. This loan will allow him to carry on his job properly. In the future, he plans to have his own house and children.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
