Mohamad is a 27-year-old single Lebanese man. He’s the only child of his parents and they’re all living together. He’s a hard worker, ambitious and caring for his parents' situation, or else he would not provide any help for his family. They’re really thankful for having such a man.
Mohamad has owned his own coffee booth since 2009, and until now he’s taking advantage of every single moment to benefit and develop his business. Today, he’s requesting to borrow $3000 from kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to open his own cafe. He’s well known for his delicious coffee, and having his own place will increase his revenues.
In the future, he plans to open his own restaurant just next to the cafe.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
