Anazita is 50-years-old, married, and has two full-grown children. Anazita is from Aguada, Ozamis City. To make a living, Anazita operates a transportation services business. Anazita has been engaged in her business for over four years and earns approximately 3,000 PHP a month.
In 2006, Anazita joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Anazita has successfully repaid a previous loan of 26,000 PHP from GDMPC.
Anazita is requesting a new loan of 33,050 PHP, which will be used to repair an existing vehicle so that she can offer better service. This will be the fifth loan taken out by Anazita from GDMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
