Chizi is a married woman with eight children, three of whom still attend school while the others have completed their education. Her husband is a farmer who contributes to the provision of family basic needs. Chizi owns a house with neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for her family.
Chizi has operated a meat goat selling business for the past five years; her potential clients are the people at the slaughter. She faces a major challenge of livestock disease which sometimes leads to death. She dreams of expanding her business.
With the Kshs 35,000, she wants to purchase more goats for resale. She decided to join Yehu because of its fair terms and conditions.
