Sophea is a 40-year-old widowed mother living in the rural area of Tbaung Khmum district, and she has five children. She is a farmer and also she plants cassava to generate additional income to support her family. To earn a living, Sophea has been with this business for 15 years. This is her first loan with VisionFund. She will use this loan to buy a plot of land for her cassava plantation. With this loan, she hopes to grow more cassava and also earn more income to better feed her family and build on some necessary household assets.
