The YHIRE communal bank will begin its first loan cycle in Pro Mujer with the Santiago II regional office. It is composed of eight members and has a board of directors headed by señora Zenobia. The members have various businesses including a neighborhood shop, making children’s clothing, selling meals, selling beauty products, selling toys, sewing petticoats, and selling spices.


Señora Zenobia says that this is the first time that she has worked with Pro Mujer and that she established the communal bank at the invitation of her friends. Currently, she has a neighborhood shop which she has worked with for some time.


The loan she is applying for now is to purchase a refrigerator which she will acquire at wholesale in the community of La Ceja. She will install it in her shop to keep and preserve the products that she sells. Her business allows her to generate income to support her family. She is married and has two children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer she responded that she likes the training in finance and health.

La A.C. “YHIRE” iniciará su primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del centro focal Santiago II, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva encabezada por la señora Zenobia. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: tienda de barrio, tejido de ropa de niños, venta de comidas, venta de productos de belleza, venta de juguetes, costura de enaguas, venta de condimentos.

La señora Zenobia, indica que es la primera vez que trabaja en Pro Mujer y que integro la institución por invitación de sus amigas. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tienda de barrio que viene trabajando hace algún tiempo.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para aumentar su capital (compra de heladera) que adquirirá de la Ceja, por mayor, y posteriormente lo implementara en su tienda para guardar y conservar los productos a vender. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, pues ella es casada y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la capacitación en crédito y salud.
