Hussein is a 44-year-old Lebanese married man. He lives with his wife and three school-aged children.
Hussein has been working in selling computers for the past 20 years, and owned his shop since 2009. He has one full-time employee helping him with the work. Today, he’s asking to borrow $1500 from kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase more computers and products such as cables, keyboards, and many other items to sell in order to serve a wider range of clientele. In the future, he hopes to further enlarge his business.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
