In the city of Portoviejo’s Los Rosales site the two male and 12 female members of the “Nueva Integración” communal bank meet every two weeks. They carry out a variety of activities like farming, animal husbandry and commerce in general. For them, this is their second cycle in the communal bank and they are very happy to belong to this lovely institution and are grateful for the help provided.

One of the group members is Sonia, 36. She’s in a common law relationship and has four children who are 19, 16, 14 and 10 years old. The three youngest go to elementary school and secondary school. Her husband’s a municipal employee.

To earn her own resources to help the household she works as a domestic employee in a house downtown but she’s also a merchant; she sell Avon products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume and women’s accessories). She works every day selling in her free time and on her days off. She sells on credit and collects weekly. She’s been in business two years and does very well.

This loan is to buy perfume, creams, cosmetics and costume jewelry. This is the second cycle in the communal bank and she likes it because of the help they’ve given her along this time. Her dream is to give her children the best.

En el sitio Los Rosales en la ciudad de Portoviejo se reúnen cada quince días los 2 socios y las 12 socias del Grupo De Crédito Nueva Integración. Los mismos que se dedican a diversas actividades tales como la agricultura, crías de animales y comercio en general. Para ellos este es su segundo ciclo en el Banco Comunal y están muy contentos por pertenecer a esta linda institución y están agradecidos por la ayuda prestada.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la señora Sonia, tiene 36 años de edad y mantiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene cuatro hijos de 19, 16, 14 y 10 años de edad los tres menores estudian en colegio y escuela. El marido es obrero municipal.

Ella para obtener sus propios recursos y con estos ayudar en el hogar se dedica a realizar quehaceres domésticos en una casa en el centro de la ciudad, pero ademas de esto también se dedica al comercio en lo que es venta de productos de Avon (productos de belleza, cosméticos, perfumería y accesorios para damas). Trabaja todos los días y sus ventas las realiza en sus momentos y días libres, ella deja sus productos a crédito y cobra cada semana. Tiene dos años que se dedica a esta actividad y le va muy bien.

Este crédito es para comprar perfumes, cremas, cosméticos y bisutería. Este es el segundo ciclo en el Banco Comunal y le gusta por la ayuda que le han brindado en este tiempo.

Su sueño es darles lo mejor a sus hijos.
