Mostafa is a 27-year-old Lebanese engaged man. He has owned a small shop since 2009, and his job consists of repairing electricA. generators. It wasn’t that hard starting his business alone since he had already seven years of experience working in the same occupation.
Today, he is requesting to borrow $1,800 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase mechanicA. tools and a range of spare parts. He plans to serve more customers in order to gain superior income and therefore, save enough money to be able to get married soon. In the future, he plans to open his own repairing shop.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
