Rosita is a married woman and has eight children. She is 60 years old and resides at Tukuran, Zamboanga Del Sur, Philippines.
She owns and operates a farm, planting & harvesting rice to sell to earn a living, and she's been 10 years in this business. Each month, she earns about 10,000 PHP doing this type of business.
She requested a loan of 20,000 PHP to purchase additional seeds, seedlings and young crops to raise. She has been a member of GDMPC for almost a year. In the future, Rosita wants to make improvements to her house and to finish the studies of her children.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
