Long, 31, is married and resides with his wife and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia, an area known for pre-angkorean sites.
Long is a construction foreman, and his wife is employed at a garment factory in the city. This couple works so hard every day for incomes to help cover the family expenses.
Long is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase more construction supplies to expand his construction business. By doing so, he will be able to generate more income.
In the future, he would like to use any additional income to repair his house. This will be his first loan from KREDIT, a longstanding Kiva partner.
KREDIT Ltd. is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia. The organization empowers the economically-active poor and small entrepreneurs by providing inclusive financial services. Beyond loans, KREDIT offers low-income clients complementary training in debt management, savings and budgeting.
