Peace is 46 years old and lives in the town of Gaba in the Kampala South region of Uganda. She is married and has five children with two of them currently in school.

For the past four years, Peace has been working hard to manage her poultry farm, which sells chickens. To help expand her business, Peace has requested a loan of 1, 500,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more feed for the chickens and will help Peace to generate greater profits and buy food to feed her family.

Peace hopes that in the future she will be able to expand her business.

Peace is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Peace who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
