Mrs. Dong S., 44, is married with five children and lives in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. She works selling palm sugar to a nearby market, while her husband is the one who is a palm sugar refiner. He has to get up very early in the morning to collect palm juice and start refining it. With this business activity, S. and her husband can collectively make around $4 per day of profit. Therefore, one of her children is a driver; another one is a bus-conductor; and the balance of their children are enrolled in school. S. and her husband would like to spend the rest of their time breeding pigs for additional profit, but they face a financial constraint. To do so, the couple would like to request for a loan to help them.
