Mrs. Shatar, 48, lives with her husband and daughters in the slum district of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, where she has been working as a cook in the taverna for many years. She also runs a taxi business in order to increase her income, earning over MNT 20.000 each day.
Lately, due to damage to her car, it has become too dangerous for her and her passengers to operate the service. Shatar is therefore requesting this loan to purchase the spare parts required for her taxi repair.
