The Wanignon group is made up of thirteen people from the same neighborhood. The group representative, named Noudéhousèa, has her hand raised in the photo. Noudéhousèa is 47 years old and no longer lives with her husband. She has two children, one of whom is in school and under her care. Noudéhousèa never attended school. To meet her and her child's needs, she has been selling vegetables for 20 years. She also sells bread and palm nuts. Noudéhousèa buys her stock in a village in Benin. With the goal of increasing her business activity and better meeting her customers' needs, she is requesting, along with the other members of the Wanignon group, a first loan through ALIDé. Noudéhousèa hopes to later buy a piece of land and build on it.
Le groupement WANIGNON est composé de treize personnes qui habitent le même quartier. La représentante du groupe, du nom de Noudéhousèa est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Noudéhousèa est âgée de 47 ans et ne vit plus avec son mari. Noudéhousèa a deux enfants dont un scolarisé et à sa charge. Noudéhousèa n’a jamais été à l’école. Pour subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de son enfant, Noudéhousèa mène comme activité depuis vingt cinq ans la vente de légumes. Parallèlement à cette activité, Noudéhousèa vend du pain et des noix de palme. Noudéhousèa s’approvisionne dans un village du Bénin. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de son activité et de mieux répondre à la demande de sa clientèle, Noudéhousèa sollicite, ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe WANIGNON, un premier crédit auprès de ALIDé. Noudéhousèa ambitionne plus tard acquérir puis construire une parcelle.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
