Roudayna is a 34-year-old Lebanese single woman living with her parents and two siblings. She is the main owner of an accessories shop. She has been working hard in her store for the past three years. She sells women's accessories such as bags, necklaces, bracelets, rings and perfumes. She cooperates with her father to pay the family expenses. Today, she is asking to borrow $1500 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to increase her store’s inventory of accessories and perfumes to attract more customers and therefore increase her sales. In the future, she plans to add women's clothes to her shop.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
