Maria has practiced farming in Naivasha town for the last six years. She is 44 years old, married to Kindi and they have two school-going children.

She was introduced to KADET by one of our field officers and this will be her second loan. She paid all her previous loan well and in good time. She plans to use the loan amount to plant maize and wheat under irrigation in her farm and on large scale.

In future, Maria hopes to have a large plantation of wheat as well as pump water for irrigation into her farm, thereby becoming one of the leading farmers in the region.
