El señor Santos tiene 67 años de edad, vive en unión libre con su esposa, tiene 3 hijos (2 mujeres y un varón), reside en el área urbana del municipio de Yoro.
La actividad económica de Don Santos es ofrecer el servicio de molienda de maíz a través de un molino semi tecnificado. Como actividad adicional para generación de ingresos su esposa se dedica a la producción de tortillas, actividad que realizan con el apoyo de sus hijos en sus tiempos libres ya que dos de ellos estudian.
Comenta que hace 4 años inicio con este negocio y considera que ha mejorado significativamente sus ingresos, lo que le ha permitido adquirir su propio vehículo.
Actualmente ha solicitado su primer préstamo, el cual será invertido en la compra de una planta eléctrica para el funcionamiento ininterrumpido del molino.
Manifiesta que la planta electrica que comprará le ayudará a superar mucho en su negocio ya que en la zona donde el radica existen muchas dificultades con la energía eléctrica, pues constantemente es suspendido dicho servicio, lo que provoca que él suspenda operaciones.
Don Santos está muy motivado con su negocio ya que existe la demanda del servicio de molienda, el espera seguir obteniendo buenos ingresos para apoyar a sus hijos con la educación universitaria y mejorar la calidad de vida de toda su familia.
