Jacinta is a 57-year-old widow with nine children between the ages of 18 and 35. To earn a living, she does dairy farming. She has been in business for ten years. In addition, she grows potatoes, tomatoes and coffee for commercial use. She works hard in her business in order to provide for her family. Jacinta hopes to practice large-scale farming in five years. She has requested a loan of 100,000 Kenyan shillings to buy a cow and animal feed as well as to construct a cowshed.
