Mrs. Houl K., 44, is a duck seller in the Cher Chroy part of Kompong Cham province in Cambodia. Each day she earns approximately six dollars in profit. Her husband, Mr. Choun Lay, 47, sells deep fried ducks in the market earning five dollars a day. They have two children. Their daughter sells ducks in the market with Mrs. K. and their son is a student.

The couple hopes to use part of this loan to expand their current business by purchasing ducks in larger quantity to resell at the market. The balance of the money will be used to buy pigs to breed and sell when they are grown.
