Amani - Chanika Group's story

Eva, who is in her late 20s, is married with four children who are still going to school. She has been a tailor for three years. She works from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be Eva's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to buy materials for making dresses and has paid back her loan successfully. She wants another loan to buy materials and start selling kanga and vitenge. Her dream is to one day be able to have a big sewing company.

She will share this loan with her loan group "Amani - Chanika" which has a total of 16 members who will hold each other accountable is paying back their loans.
