Sokunthy is 47 years old, married and has two children. She earns a living as a teacher and supplements her income by farming and raising fish. She has been a teacher for almost 20 years and is applying for her first loan with VisionFund. She will use the loan to buy a motorbike to use to commute to and from school. This will reduce her travel time and allow her to devote more time to farming and raising fish.
