Lolita is married. She is 45 years old with 5 children and she lives in Tukuran Zamboanga del Sur.
Lolita manages her own business venture, selling fish to make a living for her family. She has handled this business for more than 11 years. Each month she earns 6,000 PHP doing this kind of work. She has requested a loan in the amount of 12,000 PHP from GDMPC to buy more materials for fishing and to purchase more fish to sell.
Lolita has been a member of GDMPC since 2008. She will keep the returns for her family's daily needs and for the educational plan of her kids. She's hoping that her business will be blessed by the Lord until all her children can finish their studies.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
