Jose Luis
José Luis' family work in the 'informal business' sector. José has been married for ten years and lives in the north-east of the city. The market stall from which he sells his products is located on the other side of the city. He does not have any dependent children as his children are all grown up.

José Luis suffered an accident and so he had to close his business for a long period of time. His wife cared for him while he was in the hospital and the merchandise that the couple had became spoiled as they sell shampoo and other personal care products. This meant that they lost their working capital. They need this loan so that they can restart their business and go back to work because they are getting on in years and can't work on anything new until José Luis recovers completely from his accident.
