Racheal is a thirty-two-year-old married woman with one school-going child. Her husband Martin is a businessman who contributes to providing for the family's basic needs. She owns a house with electricity but no piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food for her family and school fees for her child.
Racheal has operated a retail shop for the past five years. Her potential clients are passersby. She faces a major challenge of theft. She dreams of expanding her business to a wholesale shop.
With the Kshs 40,000 she wants to purchase more stock of maize flour, wheat flour, and sugar for her shop. She decided to join Yehu Microfinance to access loan facilities.
