This borrower is a young single man without any children, who works as a tailor. He stopped studying five years ago and took up this trade with his brother who trained him. He then opened his own sewing workshop and bought his first machine with a loan from UIMCEC. His workshop is situated at the heart of the market giving him a large customer base; this ensures that he has a reasonably significant income. He thus bears a large proportion of his family's running expenses as well as providing for his own needs. He is now requesting a loan of 400,000 francs to buy a "Cornière" sewing machine so that he can improve his service quality. His ambition is to open a second workshop.
