Miguel
Miguel, 50, is from the city of Carapeguá. He’s been married to Rafaela for over 20 years and they have two adult children.

Miguel is the son of farmers and he has spent his entire life farming manioc, corn, beans and other horticultural products but he also sells crafts since his wife’s a weaver and he sells bedspreads that they produce themselves. He takes the crafts to sell in the cities of Villa Elisa and La Colmena transporting them on his motorcycle. Thanks to this work he managed to provide a humble home for his family and was able to acquire several comforts at home.

He’s requesting the loan to buy hammocks, blankets and sheets because he has several pending orders for these items and he wants to satisfy his customers. He thanks the Fundación and Kiva for giving him this opportunity.
