A loan of $925 helped to buy products to stock her store and fodder for her animals.

Dolores's story

Dolores is 46 years old. She is a woman who works hard for the future of her children. She lives in the small village of Acraquia together with her husband Rodrigo. The couple have five children. They only care for one of their children, Leydi, in their own home.

Every morning, in the main square of the village, we find Dolores preparing food which she will then sell to the local people who, aware of the good flavor of this food, visit her all the time. Her work is going very well, so much so that she recently started preparing different fruit juices and stocking her store with drinks, candies and other basic products. As she is a hard-working woman, Dolores also raises cattle. She has three cows and two calves whose milk she uses to prepare small cheeses called 'bolillos' which she then sells in the city of Pampas on market day. Right now, Dolores would like to continue working harder as she would like to have solid working capital so that she doesn't have problems.

Dolores belongs to the 'Acraquia' community bank and this is her eighth loan from MFP. She is grateful for the financial support and pledges to make her repayments on time as she is noted for being responsible. With your support, Dolores will invest the money she has requested in buying basic products for her food store and also fodder with which to feed her animals.
