Jacinta is 28 years old. She is married to Muthama. Together, they have three children, aged 6, 2 and 1 year old. She own a retail shop besides owning a posho mill (to grind corn into flour). She has been in the business for the past five years. She gets a monthly income of 10,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) from the business.
This is her second loan from KADET. She repaid her previous loan successfully. She will use the loan amount to purchase maize to use in the posho mill and also to sell in the retail shop.
She will use the anticipated profits to educate her children. She wants to expand her business and own another posho mill.
