Kodjo François
Mr. François Kodjo T., born in 1962 in Tchagba in Haho, is married with two children. Being unable to get an education due to lack of support, he taught himself to drive and got his driving license in 1982. Unable to buy his own car, he frequented transportation centers to take over from drivers during their rest periods. However, this did not guarantee him enough income to support his household needs. Very quiet and serious, he worries constantly about his family’s well-being. Despite his precarious situation, he succeeded in getting a $200 loan which he gave to his wife to set up a small food business so that she could contribute to the household expenses. With his help, his wife was able to manage and repay this loan, and she received a further loan, in her own name, which she is repaying with no problems.

Mr. T. is now requesting a $2000 loan to buy a car so that he can provide a taxi service. The financing of this project will be of enormous help in stabilizing Mr. T.’s income to provide for the needs of his family, and especially to ensure his children’s education.
