Sokhim, 34 years old, is a food seller, and she earns $5 per day. Her husband buys and sells recycled things and earns $5 per day. They have three children, two are studying and one is only three years old. Every month, she has to spend $40 on food, $18 on electricity, and $30 on school fees. She would like to request a loan of $900 to buy karaoke material to start a business. She wants to extend her business and buy more karaoke material when she makes a good income from it.
