Sern, 60 years old, is a village leader and a farmer earning $1 per day. His wife stays home. They have two children who both work earning $9 per day in total. Every month he has to spend $25 on food, $5 on electricity, $5 on transportation and $10 on other expenses. He would like to request a loan of $1200 to buy a motorbike for his children to travel to work. Most of the family expenses are paid for by his children. He wants his daughter to sell groceries at home so that she does not need to travel far from home to work.
