The communal bank "Cremositas" will start their first loan cycle with Pro Mujer (Kiva Field Partner) as part of Centro Focal Patacamaya. It is formed by eight members and it is directed by a board of directors which is led by Lourdes, the president of the group. The businesses held by the members of the communal bank are various. Among them are: merchandise sales, clothing sales, community store and fast food stall, book store, photocopies, and video games.

Lourdes indicates that it is her first time working with Pro Mujer and she joined the institution following an invitation from a friend in her community. She currently has a store selling educational materials and she has had it for three years. She learned the business from a friend.

The loan that she will take will be used to increase her capital (to purchase educational materials). She will acquire her products in La Paz and she will later sell them from her sales stand. This form of work helps her to generate an income to support her family. She is single and she has a son.

When she was asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replied that she likes the credit training and the advisors.

La A.C. “CREMOSITAS” iniciará su primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del centro focal Patacamaya, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva de la cual la señora Lourdes que es la presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: Venta de mercadería, venta de ropa, tienda de barrio y frial, librería, atención de fotocopias y juegos en máquinas.

La señora Lourdes indica que es la primera ves que trabaja en Pro Mujer y que integro la institución por invitación de una amiga de su congregación. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tienda de venta de materiales educativos que viene trabajando hace tres años atrás, aprendiendo el mismo de un amigo.

El préstamo que sacará es para aumentar su capital (compra de material educativo) que adquirirá de La Paz y posteriormente lo venderá en su puesto de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, pues ella es soltera y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la capacitación en crédito y el consultorio.
