Afi is a 43-year old woman. Her husband is in the military, and she has two children. Afi has been working as vendor since 2000. She buys and resells jewelry, such as necklaces, earrings, hair elastics, and rings. She sells to all kinds of clients in front of her house, or as a street vendor in Lomé. She buys these goods at the big market of Cotonou in the neighboring Benin. She is aided by one additional person in her business.

Afi has requested her fourth loan from WAGES in order to purchase quality jewelry for her clients. She would lie to use additional profits to grow her business. In the years to come, Afi would like to open her own jewelry store. She says that she plans to use her profits to contribute to the family’s well-being.

Afi travaille comme revendeuse depuis l’an 2000. Elle achète et revend les bijoux genres colliers, boucles d’oreille, gommettes, bagues à tous ces clients à la devanture de leur maison, ou comme ambulante à Lomé. Elle achète ces produits au grand marché de Cotonou au BENIN voisin. Elle est aidée par une personne dans l’exercice de son activité.
Afi a requis son quatrième crédit de WAGES afin d’acheter des bijoux de qualité pour sa clientèle. Elle veut utiliser les profits supplémentaires de son activité à développer son commerce.
Dans les prochaines années, Afi voudrait avoir son propre boutique de vente de bijoux. Elle dit qu’avec les profits, Elle prévoit contribuer au bien être de sa famille.
