Mai is a 38-year-old married woman living in Ho Chi Minh City with her children and husband. She and her husband have been running a motorcycle washing and repair business for nine years. She would like to take out a loan to expand her business by purchasing spare parts and equipment to serve a larger number of customers.
She hopes that through the loan her business will be able to generate more income, which will enable her to improve her family's living conditions and put aside savings for her children's education.
