Darejan is retired. She oversees the agricultural business of the family. Her son is a soldier and works for the country’s armed forces. The family has a small dairy farm with four milk cows. Darejan produces cheese and sells it on the local market. Also, she grows maize on one hectare of land. Along with the aforementioned, the family has a vineyard with 800 grapevines. Darejan produces wine and sells it in the village. The total average monthly income from agricultural activities is 470 laris (GEL), or approximately 280 USD.
Darejan requested credit for building a house and getting it ready to live in. Also, she will purchase new household goods, which are necessary for the family. Living conditions for all family members will improve.
