This borrower comes from Kompong Speu Province, Cambodia. Mrs. Im has been spending all of her life cultivating crops. This is a skill she had learned from her parents when she was young. Im has been in the farming business since 1979. Im is married to Mr. Thol who generates income alongside her. From this business activity, Im can earn about $1USD per day. This humble couple has given birth to four kids who are all singles. To assist her income, three of her children are employed as garment factory workers in Phnom Penh city where they can get enough salary for each month; another is attending school. To upgrade their living condition, Im wishes to have a motorbike to facilitate her son’s traveling, but lacks cash, so she has decided with her husband to apply for a loan through HKL, a partner of Kiva. She hopes that this loan will make her family meet happiness and prosperity all the time. This is her first loan with HKL. She is very thankful to all kind lenders that help her family. She is shown with her husband in this photo.
