Began is a widowed woman with four children who are all married. She lives in a rental house with electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for herself.
She has operated a clothes selling business for the past five years; in addition she owns a tuk tuk. Her potential clients are the community members. She faces a major challenge of high cost of transport. She dreams of expanding her business to a wholesale shop in the future.
With the Kshs 80,000 she wants to purchase bundles of clothes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans so that she can be self reliant.
