Agamahammad is the responsible father of three children. For the past 6 years he has gained experience and knowledge. He learned the honorable work of raising livestock: activities which were passed down from his parents and which today bring him satisfaction. Thanks to his valuable knowledge of the livestock trade, he has been able to obtain good results from his sales. Agamahammad buys calves and sheep on the market at a low price, feeds them and then resells on the same market at a more profitable price. His monthly profit from cattle breeding is 200 USD.
Agamahammad's wish is to invest more capital in young animals. He hopes to continue in his dedication to his work, believing that by improving his stock and feed, his livestock will bring better prices. For this reason, he is requesting the support of a 1500 AZN loan that would permit him to continue developing his business. AqroInvest has been a fundamental part of Agamahammad´s business, having provided loans which have been used to purchase calves and sheep.
Aqroinvest Credit Union was founded by a group of 32 Imishli farmers in 2001, and has grown to become one of the largest credit unions in Azerbaijan. It boasts a portfolio of nearly $5 million and is wholly owned by its more than 3,500 borrowers, as of December 2011.
