Mrs. Uon lives in the Ornlong Veng district of Siem Reap province with her lovely husband and child. She has a pig fattening business and she also distills liquor in her home. She says that this work keeps her really busy but, luckily, her husband, a rice farmer, often helps her. Mrs. Uon typically earns an average of $4.50 US per day to meet the family's expenses.
Mrs. Uon is requesting a loan from Kiva through HKL to use as capital to keep running her liquor distilling business and to purchase piglets for raising. For the future, Mrs. Uon plans to expand her business and to gain a better standard of living.
