Nancy is a married woman with three children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past three years, she has operated a retail shop selling at the market to her neighbours and passersby. The high cost of transportation is a major challenge for Nancy. She dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.
With the 30,000 Kenyan shillings, she wants to purchase bundles of wheat flour, corn flour, sugar and tea leaves for her retail shop. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
