The Kawral group was formed in July 2008 just after the local credit association was founded. The group is made up of 14 women who all live in the same village. They are all sales women by trade.

Madame Mariama (sitting on the far right) is the group leader. She is 53 years old, married, has 8 children, and also has a step-daughter in her care. She sells curds in the weekly markets in the nearby towns, and has been involved in this trade for over a decade.

Her loan will enable her to purchase milk for re-sale. The profits that she generates will enable her to support her husband with the family expenses, and to put some money aside as savings.

Le groupe kawral a été créé en juillet 2008 lors de l’inauguration leur banc villageois. Il compte 14 femmes qui habitent toutes le même village. Elles font toutes le petit commerce.

Madame Mariama(assise à l’extrême droite), est responsable. Elle est âgée de 53 ans, est mariée et mère de 08 enfants. Elle a en charge une belle fille.

Elle vendeuse de lait caillé dans les marchés hebdomadaire aux environs de son village. Activité qu’elle exerce de puis plus d’une décennie.

Son prêt va lui permettre de mieux s’approvisionner en lait pour la revente.

Les bénéfices lui serviront et de soutenir son mari dans les charges familiales et d’augmenter son épargne.
