The Sikilo group was established after the creation in 1998 of the banc villageois which has the same name. The group is made up of 27 women who all live in the same neighborhood. Their main activity is small-scale retail.

Adama, (seated, third from the left) is the group's leader. She is 59 years old, married, and the mother of 7 children. For more than five years she has been selling various items at the local market. With this loan she plans to buy children's clothes to re-sell at the beginning of the school year. The profits will allow her to help her husband in paying for food and education.

Le groupe Sikilo est né depuis la création du banc villageois portant le même nom en 1998. Il est composé de 27 femmes qui habitent le même quartier. Elles ont comme activité principale le petit commerce.

Madame Adama,(assise en troisième de la gauche vers la droite), est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 59 ans, est mariée et mère de 07 enfants. Elle vendeuse d’articles divers au marché de son quartier. Activité qu’elle pratique depuis plus de 05 ans.

Avec ce prêt elle compte acheter des vêtements pour enfants en vu des les revendre durant la rentrée des classes.

Les bénéfices de son activité lui permettront de soutenir son mari dans la prise en charge alimentaire et scolaire.
