The Kambeng group was created in November 2006, the day of the inauguration of the "banc villageois". It is composed of 26 women who all live in the same neighborhood. They all have small-scale retailing as a principle activity.

Madame Aissatou (standing, third from left to right) is the leader of the group. She is 36, married, and the mother of three children. She sells vegetables as she has been doing for more than three years now. With this loan she intends to buy vegetables for resale.

The profit from her business will permit her to put aside savings and to help her husband pay the school fees for their children as well as daily expenses.

Le groupe Kambeng est créé en Novembre 2006 au jour de l’inauguration du banc villageois. Il est composé de 26 femmes qui toutes vivent dans même quartier. Elles ont comme activité principale le petit commerce.

Madame Aissatou (debout en troisième position de la gauche vers la droite) est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 36 ans, est mariée et mère de 03 enfants.

Elle vend des légumes activité qu’elle pratique depuis plus de trois ans.

Avec ce prêt elle compte acheter des légumes pour la revente.

Les bénéfices de son activité lui permettront d’épargner et de soutenir son mari dans la prise en charge de la scolarité des enfants et de la dépense quotidienne.
