Bineta
Bineta is a 27-year old single woman living in a suburb in Senegal. She is the mother of a five-year child. Since 2001, she has been working as a cleaning woman in the branch of U-IMCEC in which she is a member. In addition, since 2008 she has been working as a vendor. Her reason for going into business is the need to improve her socioeconomic status. She has been a member since July 24 and already repaid nine prior loans. She is seeking a credit of 100,000 West African francs in order buy clothing and jewelry to resell ahead of the Tabaski holiday [the Muslim holiday also known as the Feast of Sacrifice]. This financing will allow her to increase her revenues, to support herself and, before all, to help her parents with their everyday expenses.
