Lavrent's story

Lavrent was born in 1956 in the Srashen village of the Syunik region. After completing eight grades of a Kapan boarding school, he went to a professional technical college, where he obtained a painter specialty. Lavrent has been working in his field at the Kajaran copper-molybdenum factory for many years. Lavrent's wife is a homemaker, daughter is married and lives separately, and Lavrent's son and his family live together with the parents. Since 2005, Lavrent and his son have been involved in agriculture in the Nerkin Hand village. They breed cattle, sheep, goats and pigs at their farm. They also grow potatoes for sale. Lavrent sells beef, lamb, pork and milk and sheep wool to his loyal customers in the town of Kapan. Lavrent needs a loan in the sum of 1,000,000 dram to finish construction of a new barn for his cows, sheep and goats.
