Nenneh is 33 years old and married with two children, ages 4 and 14, both attending school. Nenneh runs a kitchen items shop in Goderich, located in the Western Area of Sierra Leone. She has been in this business for 7 years, and has 1 employee working for her. Her family also receives income from her husband’s job at a local company. She says that the main challenge to her business is lacking financial resources to improve her shop.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more plastic plates, baskets, buckets, tables, utensils, and other kitchen items. Nenneh says that the extra income from this loan will help her improve her family's welfare. In the future, she would like to open more branches at different locations.
