This place is famous for its straw hats.

Four months ago, this group of individuals decided to join together and start this Communal Bank. Their union has been a great help in growing their small businesses. They engage in different business activities such as retail, services, selling food, and other trades.

It is in this place that one can meet Sra. Holandina. She is 56 years old, married, and has five grown children who are independent. Her husband is a farmer.

To help her husband with the household expenses, Holandina has managed a small business in her home for more than 20 years. She sells candy, ice cream, beverages, and certain snacks and fast foods. Holandina also provides entertainment at her establishment since she has four billiard tables for customers who want to pass the time and enjoy a relaxing moment. She works every day and has the help of her husband whenever he is able. Holandina says that the weekends are when most of her customers come to her shop.

This loan will be used to restock her business by purchasing ice cream, sodas, candy, and ingredients for preparing her dishes. Holandina has been with the Communal Bank from the beginning and enjoys working with the organization. Her dream is to have a well-stocked store.
