Sari Pertami group is a new pig farmer group numbering 10 members with a loan amount of Rp.15,000,000. They are joined in groups to get funding and training from MUK. They receive information about pig groups from the groups in other villages.

Ni Ketut, 42 years old, has two children. The first one is married, and the second is in college. Her husband works as a farmer. In addition to helping her husband as a farmer, Ni Ketut pursues efforts to raise pigs. With the loan she bought two pigs that will be bred. She plans to be a piglet seller. Ni Ketut hopes to be able to fix her house with the profits from raising pigs.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
