Jonah is a farmer in Litein area of South Rift, Kenya. He is aged 40 and married with six children aged between 14 and below two years. He has been in farming for six years with his milk and maize produce going to the local market. He runs a retail shop in the local market for additional income.
Jonah has requested a loan of 70,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to purchase a dairy cow. He says the improvement of income to due an additional dairy cow will enable him provide basic needs to the family. He adds that the dairy farming business will continue to grow.
